Create a finch feeder from a used plastic jug or bottle. Cut out ¼” holes on opposite sides of the container. Slide a 1/4” dowel through the holes to form a perch. Add as many perches as the container will support. Cut out 1/8” oblong holes 1-1/2” above perches. Run wire through the top of the container to create a hanger. Simply fill with nyjer thistle seed and watch the birds flock to feed. |
